Funing County is a part of Qinhuangdao City Prefecture in Eastern Hebei Province. As can be seen on adjacent Map of Hebei Province and surrounding regions the County Town of Funing is situated almost due west of Qinhuangdao City proper.
The Great Wall of China runs through Funing County in which its counts no less than 8 separate sections.
