Doha has a hot desert climate with sunny days virtually all year around.
Over the course of a year, the temperature typically varies from 14°C to 41°C and is
rarely below 10°C or above 44°C. The warm season in Qatar lasts from May 10 to
September 26. The colder season in Qatar lasts from December 5 to March 6 at which time day-time temperatures drop significantly (to below 25°C) but chance of rainfall increases to about 15% daily.

Due to the surrounding deserts of the Arabian Peninsula and the prevailing desert climate, precipitation is sparse to virtually none existent in Doha and Qatar (as well as the neighboring United Arab Emirates. Generally speaking rainfall is not the worry of visitors and tourists. The air humidity in Qatar however does at times. Around the year, the air humidity in Doha may vary greatly, ranging between an unusual and unlikely 18% to the full 100%. Noteably, air humidity does not much relate to the hot and cold seasons and very humid days with humidities above 90% may occur in any month.

The most precipitation falls in the month of March, when cloud cover is the most likely. The dryest month on average is the Month of August, with cloud cover unlikely and an average chance of rain fall near 1% daily. When rain occurs in Doha it usually comes in the form of light or moderate rain, with thunderstorms sometimes occuring.  Snow fall never occurs in Qatar.

The warm season lasts from May 10 to September 26 with an average daily high temperature above 37°C. The hottest day of the year is July 6, with an average high of 41°C and low of 31°C.

The cold season lasts from December 5 to March 6 with an average daily high temperature
below 25°C. The coldest day of the year is January 22, with an average low of 14°C and high of
21°C.

Due to its vicinity to the Equator, in the Emirate of Qatar, the length of the day varies significantly
over the course of the year. The shortest day is December 21 with 10:34 hours of daylight; the
longest day is June 20 with 13:43 hours of daylight.
