At TianNing Temple : After arriving into a Hutong Street it is just a short distance to the South Gate of Tian Ning Temple. This street is rather inconspicuous, larger, but thoroughly Beijingese and Hutong. If in need of a quick snack or when thirsty, drop in easily to one of the small and cheap local stores. Or even better - get a street made sweet potato or some other genuinely hutong snack. There is not much else around to see. Getting a haircut in front of the South Gate seems a bit odd when you are about to visit the Temple, but is possible.

It was rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty and renamed as the peaceful temple(Tian Ning Temple). It was rebuilt in Qing Dynasty again. What left nowadays is the central part leanning towards south of the original temple. The brick tower is the Liao Dynasty building style. The others are the building style in Qing Dynasty.
